Common questions
What's the difference between standard and state-of-the-art hex meshing?
Standard hex meshing, in every plan, covers swept and transfinite meshes, which work well on geometry that can be swept. Pro adds Effileap's learned hex mesher: a trained model that splits complex solids into blocks that can be meshed with hexes, so far fewer parts need manual partitioning.
What does the Enterprise customisation cover?
Work built around your process, such as extra file readers and writers, custom report templates and automated workflows. Enterprise customers get it at discounted rates. Tell us what you need and we'll scope it.
Can I move to another plan later?
Yes. Your models and project files stay the same, and the plan only changes which tools and services are available.
Do I need Abaqus or LS-DYNA installed?
No. You can open and edit their decks and view LS-DYNA d3plot results without either one installed. You only need your own licence to actually run those solvers.
Which operating systems are supported?
Naksha is a Windows desktop application, and a portable build runs without installation.
Is my model data sent anywhere?
Solves, meshing and post-processing all run locally on your machine. The optional agent link only listens on localhost and is off by default. If you turn it on, the AI assistant you connect can see what it reads through the link.
Not sure which plan fits?
Tell us about your models and the solvers you use, and we'll recommend a plan and show it working on your own parts.
