Who we are

This website is run by Effileap Technologies, Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram), Kerala, India ("Effileap", "we"). We decide how the personal data described here is used. For any privacy question or request, email info@effileap.com.

What we collect

• Contact form. When you send the form, we receive your name, work email, and, if you give them, your company, role, area of interest and message. The form sends this to us by email.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data for each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running.
• Fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads. See Google's privacy policy for how it handles this.

We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website, and we don't sell personal data.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask for it, to send you Naksha and help you set it up.
• To keep the website secure and working.

We process contact-form data because you choose to send it to us and ask us to respond. We process server logs for the legitimate purpose of running a secure website.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers that run this site and our email: our web host (GoDaddy) and our email provider. They process the data on our behalf. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Where it's stored

The website is hosted in a data centre in Asia, and enquiries reach our team in India. If you write from outside India, your data will be transferred to and handled in India.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we're in contact with you, and then for up to 24 months unless you become a customer, in which case we keep them as part of the customer record. Server logs are kept for as long as our host retains them for operational purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Depending on where you live, this includes your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the EU and UK GDPR. To make a request, or to raise a complaint, email info@effileap.com. We'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is meant for engineering professionals and students. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
